What is the root cause of acne? The answer is probably a complex one since a number of different factors can contribute to it.

While there are numerous medical reasons for acne, the fact remains that many people suffer from the condition because of genetics. Genetics are hereditary and their effect is beyond doubt. This means that if your parents suffered from acne, you are likely to get it too.

Many people mistakenly believe that acne only affects teenagers or young adults. While this may be true in the short term, it’s usually not true in the long term. Once your skin gets into a constant state of inflammation and infection, you’re going to continue to have acne, no matter how old you may be.

You may find that if you have severe acne that you have trouble sleeping at night. This is because your pores are constantly irritated, which reduces the amount of oxygen available to the blood. Because your skin produces more sebum, you have an extra layer of dead skin to slough off.

It may feel uncomfortable to have acne on your face, but this is usually the result of a small pimple getting infected, which actually causes a small ulcerated area. Eventually, this area swells and then inflames, producing pus that has a bad smell.

Some people who suffer from acne conditions will have allergic reactions to certain products and the chemicals used in many of them. The same goes for medications and treatments. This may be due to things like prolonged exposure to fabrics or detergents that contain irritants.

There are some people who may have depression, anxiety, or stress-related conditions which will make them more susceptible to having acne problems. These conditions can easily be treated with medications. However, these types of illnesses are very difficult to treat and cure and so acne will always recur.

As you grow older, you will also build a tolerance to various things in life. Your body changes and so do your acne problems. At first, you may find yourself having very mild acne, but as you continue to get older, this tolerance will increase to more severe and problematic conditions.

Sometimes genetics can cause an acne problem if one parent has it. This is true for children born of women who suffer from acne. This has become so common that more people are finding out about it than you would think.

You may be able to find the cause of acne by testing your blood for hormone levels and examining your skin for redness or irritation. In extreme cases, your skin may be red and inflamed and you may even have put in your affected areas. In some cases, you may even find that your skin is scaly or itchy.

The truth is that while there are many possible causes for acne, it doesn’t really matter what the cause is unless you have chronic problems. If you have severe acne that’s affecting the areas of your face where it will affect you the most, then it’s a good idea to talk to your doctor about getting help for it.
